The THSA team can demonstrate a solid track record in overseeing medium and large new-build hotel projects. In addition to managing multiple hotel refurbishments, our resumé includes projects in motels, resorts, holiday parks, restaurants, pubs, bars and attractions for both international brands and leading stand-alone operations.

Drawing on our substantial hands-on experience in construction, interior design, hospitality technology and FF&E/OS&E procurement and fitout, THSA helps bridge the industry knowledge gap for developers, architects, designers, builders and other consultants between the practical requirements of building hotels, and considerations for building other property classes. We know what it takes to get these projects to completion efficiently, on time and on budget, while still focusing on their ‘end game’ operational needs.

We have invested time and effort in finding the best people and businesses to work with across the various development disciplines and can guide the selection and appointment of consultant teams and project control groups. Ultimately, we represent the owners’ interests to deliver exceptional project outcomes consistent with appropriate returns on investment.

Our team has combined experience as owners, operators and managers of accommodation businesses. With expert insights into contemporary consumer behaviour and an intimate knowledge of market trends, THSA is familiar with interpreting operators’ brand standards and owners’ concepts to deliver results that often exceed the initial brief, without exorbitant budgets.

Acting, as always, on an owner’s behalf, THSA maintains focus on the operator’s objectives and participates actively in project control groups to finesse project outcomes that are cost-effective and reflect best practice. We can support the project from feasibility stage through design, construction and fitout to successful completion, launch and when required, proceed to operations. Our clients for these services have included the largest multinationals such as Lend Lease and Goodman; significant national investors including Carter Group and Kalis Property Group; (with brands like IHG, ACCOR, Hyatt and Hilton); and outstanding, independent, award-winning developments and projects such as Hayman, Qualia and BIG4 Sunshine.
